 Right, my first submission.

Only got the one shot off so this will have to be it. Not thrilled with the composition - I would have liked to catch the sun-rise earlier in the day, and to have included more of the palm-tree. Can't seem to do anything about the noise in the shot. Still, I like the general feeling...

another nice shot! i would like to see the people centered completely and , as you said, more palm trees maybe. seriously nice image though

Thanks all for the positive comments. I was surprised at the final score. I subsequently discovered that I had my white-balance set to tungsten, which might account for the colours.

great luminosity. really quite nice; the tree is perfect, as are the clouds; perhaps eventually photoshop out the distractions along the beach line.

Beautiful picture, looks like a brocure for a tropical getaway. Good use of framing with the palm tree, give it a sense of closure with the beach as well.

I've got the feeling that the person on the right doesn't care, while the one on the left is pulling, rather than appealing.
And, there's a need for work with colors. 6

Not bad at all, got a 6 from me but I would have liked this image even better if the sunset were more spectacular, couldn´t you have increased the reds a little bit, perhaps by faking a warmer WB?
