 Already 70cm of snow early january, quite unusual. The trees are packed with hundreds of kilos. I was told that there's 100 kilo of snow per meter in height. No wonder that many snap off. I was standing next to one when it suddenly fell over. It fell the right way, because you don't want 1000kg snow and tree falling on top of you.

I'm not sure about this edit, a bit to yellow. But it was at sunrise, the colors are relatively accurate.

After editing a lot of shots (most for printing), I am starting to hate the 18-70 DX. It is too slow (aperture), vignettes like hell and way too soft. I guess I shoot with primes too often.
