Taken from my freezer, which isn't working right. The layer of ice has been there for awhile - I guess it's time to defrost and clean it out! Good for the challenge, I hope.

I'm not so sure this looks frigid - it looks more like a defrosting session where it's warming up and melting. Regardless, it definitely conveys a temperature that's cool if not downright code. The half-cut-off dial in the lower left is a bit distracting, even as it gives a sense of what the photo's about, though.

I like the ice shapes, but I'm not sure the dial or defrosting action add too much. I'd have probably cropped shorter and flipped it to simulate an icy landscape ... "Moguls on a Gray Day."

Sure would have been nice to not have the knob in here. Very ice perspective otherwise. 7

Met the challenge. Good catch to have the drop in mid-air. You might want to defrost your freezer ;) I think some level adjustment would help here, there seems to be no real black and no real white in the photo.

Would have been better if you'd cropped out the dial in the background.

excellent idea, better lighting would have had a much higher score.

I like this idea and the shapes of the ice. Maybe a fster shutter speed would help as it would have been good to see that droplet just hanging in space. [6]

Wow! time to defrost! I like how it looks like a cave with dripping stalactites. The shaddows and lines of the fridge in the background are a bit distracting 'tho the setting knob is the perfect hint of place. Wish things were a little sharper - I imagine the lighting was difficult.

Cold? Yes. But not terribly well lit or exciting. Sorry. (4)

This pic would have looked a lot better without the freezer dial there, its too bad because this would have been a great pic without it there.
