 Carousel in Central Park. In Photoshop I used the lasso to outline the horse, inverted and then used gaussian blur for the background. Not quite as tight around the horse as I would have liked.

I'm loving the contrast and the shallow DOF here. For faking it, I think you did pretty well.

Faking the DOF through PS? I can show you how to do it if you have PS in fact. I like the concept but the execution needs some tutoring ;)
