I really like the deep rich colors on this, and I think the warmth that the picture has really adds to the melting ice effect. You have done well capturing what had to be a fairly difficult shot with good focus and exposure. I also like how the out of focus reflection gives it a suspended look.

As I mentioned during the challenge, the framing bothers me a touch. I can see why it is composed as it is (to include the entire reflection), but it still seems a bit tight for me at the top. Perhaps just a bit more room up there would give it a more open feeling. Or, if you could have enough space up there to place the flower/ice on the lower horizontal third, it would have a nice balanced feeling, too, I think. Of course, I understand that by doing that, you may lose some wonderful detail.

again, a very nice shot that leaves the viewer with just enough questions to make the shot interesting, but not so many as to frustrate him/her.

Best to you in future challenges.

Is that a flower encased in ice and then melted? Or just set over ice? I'm a bit confused about the real-world setup of this photo - but the composition and the colors are lovely. I like the reflection, although the fact that it's somewhat doubled is a bit dizzying; my eyes struggle to bring the reflection clear (it almost seems like it should be), yet of course, can't, because it isn't. I like that tension, it's just a little disturbing at first glance.

Nice reflection. The flower could be sharper but the effect is nice overall.

Interesting reflection - I can;t figure out why it is doubled, or why the flower was frozen or is that broken glass? The colors and the light are glowing (good!)

Good idea. I would have prefered to see more ice than the last little bit there. Otherwise original and well done.

I like the colors in this, and though I suspect you cropped it this way to not eliminate any of the reflection, I think it would feel more balanced to me if there was more space at the top. Very nicely done, though.
