The voters have seen so many duck photos lately, I think I may have to wait awhile...another one is coming, though!

Thanks Bear, this photo is actually very similar to my Birds entry, "Maestro", as well.

Congratulations on 4th place. This was one of my picks for a ribbon - so pretty close, eh.

Great colors captured on the water, and great clarity in the outstretched feathers. Very well done!

Great capture. Odd light, but good shot nonetheless.

Amazing shot, re how you have achieved this image of the duck, in this unusual position.....

Finally ... not just a "sitting duck" ... beautiful color and nice focus for a fleeting moment of activity, 8

COOL SHOT. I LIKE THE COLORS

Wow great photo!! I love the colors, that gold on the water is so pretty

wonderful blues and oranges. Fill in flash?

LOVE the bird and the detail, but dislike the oranges and reds here. Very distracting and bothers the eyes. Don't know if it was intentional or created that way, but if it wasn't natural, I would have preferred natural colors for the water. A 7.

Nice capture of duck in action. Your wings maintain a lot of detail, though they were most likely moving. Very nicely done.

Great use of lighting, and great colors.

Excellent color and focus in such low light I'm impressed

This is really a beautiful picture. The lighting is excellent and so is the focus. It really isn't much off center though.

Spectacular! The colour of the water is beautiful, the stop action on the duck is perfect, wonderful clarity, best so far.

Fascinating reversal of BryanBrazil's "Sailing Duck", //www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=272371... Were you conscious of this? I don't bring this up in a critical way. It's a lovely image. I'll poke a little fun at you if you ARE BryanBrazil, LOL. Feel free to PM me if you wish, I'm done voting and I have scored you well.
