 This is a view of a ship's prow from Salem, MA. There were a couple of different light sources, natural and incandescent, so the image didn't turn out quite as I'd hoped. I would have rather used a smaller aperture to get the entire image somewhat crisper, but, again, the light wasn't great. I have a lot to learn about this camera. I liked her corn, though.

Good try for your first challenge. I think that you have tried to capture something you have seen, and also admitted what you think should have worked better .. I scored this a 5 as it was a good shot with a lovely blue as was the theme for the shoot.

Nice composition. Image seems to suffer from back-focus, e.g., on window, focus on figurehead would be better, with bigger aperture for shallower DOF, and maybe lower ISO for less grainy noise?
