 I'm not one for gimmicky submissions, but it's all I could come up with. Same setting as my self-portrait. wonder if anyone will notice that?

Won't do well, but it ws still fun watching the people in the parking lot trying to figure out what the hell I was doing.

*g* Very cute. Like the very low perspective on this one, the grit in the egg. Looks like it could have been cooked there, though the torn-up bit to the right side suggests it was moved - wonder if a slightly different angle could have hidden that without introducing other unwanted elements....

Sunny-side up seems to be the order of the day. You'd probably have to use a ton of grease to keep them from sticking. Good control over DOF, but I wish the cameras weren't quite so rapid in the degree of OOF in the foreground; more as it occurs in the background. Might not be optically possible though ....

Nice idea - but looks like an egg got pre-fried and then placed on the road - even more than the other version of this idea does. perhaps if you'd partially fried it and then put it down it would convince more?

Funny that there are two photos with a fried egg in the middle of the road! Some people have strange ideas :-) Well done though, I must say that. Actually I quite like it - 7.

I like the low perspective and the shallow dof. Maybe a bit brighter yellow to make the egg *pop* perhaps.

Dang, I was hoping I was the only goofball who was lying in the middle of the street to photograph an egg this week! But nooooo.... :) Nice DOF... I'm curious to see which of our shots fare better when it's all said & done.
