 Taken the same day as my wildlife entry. Fence post outside of town. It had the look of some one reaching towards the sky with their hands intertwined and their head thown back. The added touch of the barbed wire twining around the "body" made me think of someone being traped.

I started working with layers a bit on this but just barely. I seperated the sky from the post and evened that out then I burned the post to bring out the shading and grain of the wood. I adjusted the coloring and added a soft glow acouple times for mood and edited out some glowing around the wire I didnt like. The sky I just had to deal with, I couldnt the noise or the banding out of it so it will just have to go as is. Hope the feeling wins over the technical in this one.

Overall I loved the way it came out. It is off center but I suspect the sky will come back to bite me.

I really like this. It has a lovely soft colour cast that contrasts with the hardness of the wire and wood.
