thanks a lot for the great comments :) didn't fare as well as i'd hoped in the rankings, but i'm satisfied with the score, i'll do better next time.

As for how i did it, i put a blanket on the ground, put a small chair on it with thin legs, put the camera on the ol' tripod, set the self timer for 10 seconds, i jumped on the chair and when i heard the shutter click i held still and counted to 4 before i moved my arms. only one legs of the chair, and the tip of the other were showing, cloned that out, im lucky i had such a small chair heh.

thanks again :)

The focus is a bit soft. I'm not sure how I feel about the position of the lighting. Very nice set-up.

And how did you get the floating effect?? Looking forward to see how this was done!

My compliments to you for taking on such a tribute to one of DPC's most admired and respected photographers. What it lacks in execution is strengthened by the concept and the drive to create an image worthy of Dan's praise. Multiple exposures are extremely tricky to learn as I had found out. Congrats to you for trying and keep trying and continue the learning process. Great job!
