I used Adobe Photoshop Elements to selective color. Thank you!

Thank you all for commenting. This is my first entry on this site. I had alot of trouble with my resizing, but I think I've finally got the kinks worked out so it's not a problem next time.

I thought this should have gotten a higher vote in the ranking than it did. I still think it's lovely although I do see other commentor's advice about making it bigger. I think it was one of the best Anne Geddes tributes given in this challenge. I gave you a 9.

Coloring everything but the baby makes everything but the baby seem important.

Beautiful and perfect for the challenge. I love the colors & tones, and the sharpness of focus. (Next time, a litte larger please!)

Nice elements. Better lighting on baby would help a lot, as the baby seems lost in the dark. Color choices also make the baby fade.

This is effective.

love this shot. I thought the colors (red and White)were a bit too much saturated. but overall a very nice shot 7

Nice use of desat, and congrats on getting the infant to cooperate! I suspect that's half of Geddes' talent.

This is a great picture, it meets the challenge but I'm just afraid that this will be voted down because of the size, you should use the 640 pixels that we are allowed to use in challenges.

I like this shot. However I am not a fan of extra or heavy PP in Photoshop. The shadow behind the baby is also a bit distracting 7

Very nice treatment, however, I would have taken advantage of the entire space alloted to you to make this image sing louder. Bumping up.

another Bloody geddes how many demented fans does this woman have?
01/25/2006 11:58:14 PM
Just a little to dark, maybe some more soft artificial lighting and this would have gotten a higher score from me

I thought this was beautifully done. The only comment I would make is that in true Anne Geddes style, the background would have been a lighter color. Overall a wonderful interpretation. 9 (comment by wife-o-hutch, not the original hutch, but the other half hehe)

I this it's good but I think it's too closely cropped for an anne geddes. she usueally has more space around her subjects
01/25/2006 02:52:53 AM
A touching tribute. Anne Gedes typically shoots in bright spaces and hardly ever uses black backgrounds. However, my score is not based on that but based on your image in itself. First it's a tad small so you'll receive many comments about this. I wish that the baby was looking my direction instead of looking up as my eye is drawn to it. Good luck!

Classic. Nicely done. I would have like the size of the pic a little bigger though (no points off for that).
