Challenge: Wildlife II (Advanced Editing IV) Camera:* Canon EOS-350D Rebel XT Location: katwijk aan zee the Netherlands in the dunes Date: Jan 21, 2006 Aperture: 7.1 ISO: 200 Shutter: 320 Galleries: Nature, Animals Date Uploaded: Jan 24, 2006 Add photograph to your favorites Add photographer to your favorites	In the dunes of Katwijk aan Zee there are a few roe deer there not easy to find but last sunday I had some luck the wind was goor sun in the bacht and I suprised this deer in a dune valley after a few takes the roe discovered me and ran over the dunes to saver places it was a nice experience

Sweet subject and it's great that you captured it looking at the camera. This appears oddly lifeless and static to me, though. I think it is the lack of sharpness in the nose and eyes, and the overall washed out quality. It's a nice capture for a personal keepsake but as a photograph it doesn't quite have the quality to grab me.
