Image made in natural light, by a window, in the afternoon

- cropped and flipped horizontally
- adjusted histogram, adjusted colour to slightly pinkier tone
- added a copy layer, lightened this layer, blended in soft-light
- used dodge/burn tool to lighten/darken face and background
- resized
- ran through digital noise remover
- corrected a couple flaws
- added duplicate layer, applied soft-focus to this layer, erased large portions to keep only hairs at edge soft, blended in normal.
- lightened/darkened a bit more with burn/dodge
- sharpened
- added border

Softness works well here but I don't like the flowers in her hair. The colours just don't fit with the mood of the photo. I love the bit of green in the bottom right. I would have tried to pick up on that somehow and add just maybe one or two green flowers to her hair.

Really nice. I like her "off glance" and the softness of it. It's still sharply focused. The flowers around her head add some unexpected color. The lighting is perfect. The smoothness of the skin doesn't seem "fake" and overdone. Not sure about the green of her top, although it ties in with the greenish tinge in her headpiece. Great eyes. 8
