What got my attention was the water, what stunned my attention was the entire picture! All I can say is.. FANTASTIC STUNNING MARVELOUS REMARKABLE... And ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!

Look for my other comments on other photographs.. I'm usually more negative than positive..

This is a rare add to my favorite photographs!

Behold the work of a true photographer!

Greetings from the Critique Club

Beautiful picture, Crisp colors and focus is dead on. The metallic look of the water is a great asset to the picture as a whole. It really reflects some interesting patterns, hues and brings out the subject wonderfully. The orange of the leg is very nice addition, you don't get too many picture of ducks in the water that have that detail. The only problem I see with this is the position of the duck. Most try to position the subject so as they are moving into the picture, here it appears the duck is moving out of the picture. Had you shifted the subject a bit more to the left, this would have had a greater impact on the viewers. This would be a great picture to follow the 'rule of thirds' with. If you are not familiar with that, you can pm me and I can explain it to you. Its really quite handy.

Overall, its a great picture. It shows you have good control of your camera, and a good eye for subject matter.

Lovely water color.

Nice sharpness. Color curve manipulation seems to have lost some smoothness, but the overall blue color and metallic effect is striking, and an effective contrast with the mallard. Very nice.

got the glint n the eye.... the color is great....... focus is crisp... it might have been a more dramantic composition had you cropped off center
