I love the shot - but if I were to be nit-picky - I would have to tell you that the rock in the background is really distracting my eye. Beautiful colors/clarity though! :)

Beautiful pic, but you are loosing a lot of detail because it was underexposed for the bird. I think the light background threw off the exposure meeter for your subject. A spot exposure might be better next time.

These are so difficult to capture aren't they. The shaow causes a problem doesn't it. I can only think of fill flash or more stalking could balance the subject witht eh background better

Good composition, but the light background caused the peacock to be too dark.

I'd like to see the eye more clearly (too dark).

Peacock is underexposed. Some fill flash would have really helped.

Nice shot, but i'd like more light (backfill?) to bring out the details in his face. Also, peacocks are domestic fowl, and not wildlife.

wish the eye had been in better focus/more distinct, nice capture though
