Who hasn't wanted to 'live' Star Wars, if only for one evening?

This was shot in a basement with the only real lighting coming from the Master Replicas FX Lightsabers.

It was shot handheld, which unfortunately lost the extremely nifty effect of both 'blades' being reflected off of the subject's pupils in a perfect 'X' shape.

Post Processing included, Neat Image and USM.

Thank you for all your comments and votes.

I should have put a little more into this shot then I did. After posting the image, a rush of things that I could have done came to me and I plan on reshooting this and posting the results once it is done.

You like star wars huh?

Find this distracting to look at. The weapon leads the eye away from the picture. The other white thing, do not see what it is, may be supposed to be the competitors weapon, cuts the picture in two and is wery distracting. Makes it difficult to se the subjects face.

Great Star Wars shot the light is great. I love how both the red and blue are caught in his eyes.

The blue saber is a bit overexposed, but I like the composition, the expression on the face. I have seen another Jedi photo in this race, it was calm... I love the action here. I tried to cut the blue saber, but the composition needs it, that makes the story a duel. Somehow I would have tried more to avoid the overexposion.

Do you know how long I have wanted one of those light sabers? Good idea to have the only lighting in the photo projected by the sabers. I like the slight blur in the red saber, but I'm not too fond of the slight blur on the face. 6
