Well, I was going to enter this into Free Study, but my mom suggested it go as a Tribute because it looked so similar to the picture here by Steve McCurry:

This one is a self portrait. It's kinda freaky I think, I have enormous eyes, but no lips! lol I really really like it though, and I hope it does well. It's not the best picture, I know, but I love it. The lighting is off too, so one side of my face is really bright, while the other is kind of dark. I only cloned out a few distracting elements around my left eye and unsharp mask after resize. I'm guessing and hoping it will be around a 5.5

*crossing my fingers* Please please please do well!! lol

Finally a colourful picture. That is unfortunate that the picture is not sharper. It would have been greater. 7

Nice eyes. Longer lens/focal-length and lighting not-from-below would be better.

Nice tribute. If anything, the light on the right side of her face is a wee bit too bright.

His portraits don't seem to be cropped so closely nor are they as bright.

Well not really Steve McCurry's style but style a lovely portrait nevertheless. The skin is faded, the colors looked faked and the sharpness is a little off but I love the color combinations, the fact that that all the blues just go well with each other.

Very nicely put together. Your colors are thought out and coordinated perfectly. I like the softness of the skin and the perspective you show.

The photograph looks great and well done... but, I don't see the style McCurry uses to portray a culture...

a good effort but the lighting and focus let this down...face is very pretty
