Lighting is just right and the expression of the model is subtle but resolute. My only (tiny) niggle is the ring on her hand, I think this draws the eye away from the blade.
Great image though.

This image would have excelled more with just the face because the streaking tear is so convincing. Regardless, it is a top flight b/w study. Bumping up.

I can really feel the emotion, well done. Great use of lighting, good focus, and extra point for outside of the box thinking. Bumping this up one more-Good luck

The lighting is great and the shot is technically very well composed. Not to nitpick, but the cut is the wrong direction and she wouldn't be holding the blade like that. 6

Sign of depression? more like solution. Very trite title; but the image is well exposed and contrasted. Perhaps this shot in a bathtub?

I think this subject matter is always difficult to deal with, and it's probably not going to be appealing in the context of this site. As an image, I find the lighting to be appropriate and quite well executed. There's perhaps a slight overexposure onn the left hand. The shadow areas on the face works well to emphasize the mood that the image is trying to portray. I do think the crop on the top would be slightly lower as I do find the inclusion of the nails of the right hand to be a distraction.

Nice touch (with that tear). Like the gloomy effect of b/w conversion. Lighting is good, and the composition is just right for this kind of a photo. That said this kind of a photo does not fare well in the challenges but at the same time it is refreshing to see this 'unforced' form of art in any challenge.

A very riveting image which speaks volume. I truly hope this isn't a "personal" image. Black and white works well with your shot and the lighting is good also. 8

Very powerful...I actually flinched when I saw this picture. The composition does a great job of drawing the eye to the blade. Very good.

the tear drop is an added touch...love it! I don't know if i would call actually slitting the wrists a sign of depression but I like it anyways! 9
