I think I would have like the saturated version better, i.e. color is good sometimes.

First impression is my eye wants to rest on that black tree/cactus. Second impression is that theres too much bland background. Like the sweep of the road though. Suggest using something to gain a little height in order to see more road and less background.

The road is really beatiful, but the background is not very interesting and being so bright make the contrasts in the lower, interesting part too poor.
