| nice image, good color, nice dof, comp ok,b&w need work, light ok, nice texture, nice flow, cropping it tighter would make it more interesting getting rid of the bg, overall nice |

| Not the most interesting photo in the challenge but still quite nice. I think increasing contrast to give the colours more impact, and a closer crop, would improve it. |

| It's a nice rose, but there's really nothing spectacular going on here that would make me want to to score it all that high. |

| This is lacking a bit in contrast. It seems to be all midtones with very little highlights and shadows. Adjusting the levels to deepen the reds and heighten the yellow in the center and along the rims of the inner petals would make a stronger statement, IMO. The bud at the top of the frame pulls focus from the main subject. |
