This is quite nice, great focus on the closest wing. Unfortunately the eyes are not in focus. So difficult to get really good macros!

Love the pattern on its wings. Great shot

Beautiful shot, I love the muted colors and the focus, but as far as framing and composition goes, I am sure you may get a few comments about the tips of the wings being cut off.

Nice, but I would have liked it way better if the head of the fly were in focus, IMHO you should have used a smaller aperture but other than that, pretty nice.

Amazing clarity here in the wings, as they look like lace, or smoky glass patterns, so well done.....

Beautiful detail in the right wings, not so much in the left wings, wish they were not cut off.

Nice details in the wings on the right and the mid body. Focus seems lost one the rest though

Great macro.I don't know if I would have cropped the tail out but I don't think it hurts this photograph.

The details in the wings make for this beauty. Only problem is, my eyes keep getting drawn to the body and this seems OOF. 7 nonetheless.

I'm a fan of insect pics, and I sometimes get annoyed at people criticising shallow DOF on macros taken in the natural setting as I know how hard it can be. However, I do think this could have been improved by ensuring the focus extended to the head. Otherwise with the existing picture crop it down to just a detailed study of the wings because you have captured these really well...

Th reflections off the wings are great.

Wow, wonderful details here, so delicate. It just seems too cropped or tight with the wing tips and tail cut off but its a very good picture, National Geographic quality.

Dang! When this image opened, I was startled by the clarity and detail. I physically pulled back in order to take it all in. It's definitely the best macro of dragonfly wings I have ever seen. Excellent use of BOKEH and nice composition. Straight into my favorites.

Stunning Macro shot.

Despite the colours seeming a bit flat this is a good macro. I think maybe a slightly wider DoF to get the front arms in focus would improve it.

I'm not into bug pictures, but you captured incredible wings!!!! They look like glass!! GREAT job! 10

WOW stunning details in the right wing, looks like it's made of glass.

but as I've said in sooo many comments.. centered images tend to be dull, so a tighter crop maby.. loose a part of the left wing ??

and the head and eyes aren't in focus.. you get a minus for that.. I find it critical in bug macro.

you still get a 6 though :)
