Very nice. One of the best water drop shots I've seen on this site (which puts you in very good company). I also like the slightly textured background, although there are one or two spots that could be cloned out.

I can't resist drop shots - I think they are so clever and must try them myself one day. This is good and sharp and the green background really works imho.

I remember seeing this before, can't remember who's it was. Just to take a guess, I think I remember seeing this in Jacko's portfolio, but I could easily be wrong. Lovely capture!

Looks like one of Jacko's water series. Nice colour background and water shape. The lighting is okay, just the bright spots in the middle keep it from being perfect. The two in the water should be easy to clone out, the one in the glass is more difficult. 9.

I would have like to see a different cropping on this picture. As it is the glass is really centred on the page, I think it may have popped hitting the thirds with the "bloop" ...But still really cool

Nice concept, but would have liked it better if it were not so green. Just my opinion. Still gave you a great vote.

I love this green. I love the deceptive simplicity.

these drop shots always amaze me - I have yet to get it right myself - maybe now that I have a new camera I can get it right.

Nice crisp focus, and I really like the green

Ahh Jacko :) As usual a technically brilliant shot. I can't really fault it but for its lack of tiddies!

Execution of focus is done very well. I have to ask, in an advanced editing challenge, with so many entries, why would you get rid of the 2 dust marks in the shot?

quite the bloop. I'm sure the technical side of this was challenging - I've tried shots like this myself, and I was amazed at how hard it was (a) to control the location of the drop, (b) properly set the focal plane, (c) time the exposure, and (d) get adequate light. the only thing that detracts for me is the centered composition; the drops are just right of center, but I think for this kind of photo you'd be better off sticking with the more traditional rule of thirds. the way it is now, this picture makes me feel like there should be something else going on in all that empty green space, and the light texture of the background isn't enough; careful placement of line and shape is the key to controlling the wandering eye.
