My son, at the beach.

To achieve this effect, I shot RAW, then in CS2's RAW editor, I upped the brightness, exposure, and contrast. Then, I just had to do a single trace along the tip of the nose with the burn tool to bring back out the shape of his nose a bit.

Too processed for my taste - love the eyelashes on this child though! 5

Beatiful capture, and I love how he gets lost in the starkness of the background.

Maybe just a little to soft...but the title suits the image...

I'm not normally a fan of high-key photos, but I find this to be rather appealing. The detail in the eyelashes really catches the viewer's eye.

Nice image...He does look angelic. I hope this is framed and mounted in a prominent spot!

I really like the high key effect. I wish I could see some part of the actual eyes but still a really great shot.

A good high key photo but maybe even a bit too high key for my taste. I would like it better if there just a slight edge to the child's face.

When someone brings up the subject of High-Key, you now have a great example to show them. Good Work

Nice high key composition. I would have like to better see the left side of the face ... but again that just might be a problem with my screen or the limitation of sRGB. Nice composition again.
