Nice colors and tonal ranges, wish the shrimp in the chop sticks were more in focus, since it seems to be the subject and what your eyes are drawn to

Any chef will tell you that presentation is the one of the most important parts of a meal. You have done a terrific job with this composition and display. DOF is perfect for highlighting the schrimp, crop is just right and the colors and lighting are good. The reflection off the right side of the shrimp is only a small distraction. Great job!

Food photography is difficult. Here, the food looks fairly appetizing. The lighting is a little harsh for the subject but that could be overcome. I like the composition and think it works well with the subject. 7 - good luck in the challenge!

Very nice. You did a great job putting this together. While some may find the lighting a little harsh at first glance, it's really not - the lighting brings out the moistness of the food. Makes my mouth water! ;^) Good luck in the challenge.

The way you have used DOF here is great. This looks good, but I would have tried to have the shrimp slighty further to the right (looking at the picture) so it was on thirds to allow for a leading line.

Beautiful. A touch blurry, and could have bumped up the colors a bit, but nicely done.

This is a beatiful shot, and its a shame that the DOF was just barely off so that the shrimp being held up is barely out of focus.
