It looks a bit more Country than City to me - but I guess different people have different ideas of what City is. Perhaps having the top of the roadway perfectly horizontal would have made this image stronger - the steeping at this low resolution is a bit distracting. Other than that, it's a pretty good shot.
Technically imperfect, but I'd rather look at this shot than 99% of the other standard views. This says so much. And is that a satellite TV dish in the middle of ths shot? What a crazy world.
not really what i would call "city life" because there are no cars, people, or any sign of "life" around.... the sky is beautiful though and i like the silhouttes of the branches
Highways and railway lines don't say "city life" to me. Also, I'd prefer a perspective where the highway is perfectly horizontal and the tracks cross at more of an angle. But I like the glow in the background.
