Challenge: Unanswered Questions (Classic Editing)
Camera: Fujifilm FinePix S602Z
Location: St Augustines Church Basement, Brighton
Date: Jul 6, 2003
Aperture: f2.8
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/10
Date Uploaded: Jul 6, 2003

Originally I was looking for this type of image for the 'A Night on the Town' challenge, but I thought it was a better fit for 'Unanswered Questions'.

Converted to greyscale and noise added as it gave a better representation of the conditions this guy lives in.

Think you will get flamed for high noise level. But I like this picture. A Sharper version would be almost perfect

This is a good subject for this challenge, brings to mind lots of questions and tugs at the heartstrings. The photo being black and white makes it starker, which is also a nice touch. However - it's also awfully grainy. It looks more like a newspaper photo from some years back, in terms of image quality, than like a digital photo.

Too grainy. Out of focus. Subject is right.

Nice journalistic shot. The abundance of grain works well for demonstrating a grungy reality, but it is SO abundant that it looks added.

Emotional shot, B&W seems very appropriate. It's fairly sharp, but the grain really impacts the image (was that on purpose?). Challenge met. 6 Rob the Swash

This almost looks like a tv screen shot with the grain. It does leave questions in the mind, but the overall quality of the shot is lacking some, to me.

Here's a sad story for sure. Was this a night shot? The grains make the picture look like a TV video capture.

This is a bit grainy. But I do like the shot. It tells a sad sad story of real life for some people. Nice job.
