 My daughter Kristi with one of her first Christmas presents - an ornament. She loved it, and I think this really is my best shot of 2005.

Minor PP using PSP and Imagenomic Noiseware Community Edition.

Histogram adjustment (levels), noise removal by imagenomic, duplicate layer in screen mode, contrast adjustment layer, cloning and smudging to remove power strip, saturation adjustments to entire image, resize.

This is a very nice family album shot. It is well composed but it verges on snapshot for me. I think the big problem is you didn't capture a catch light in her eyes.

The action and the pose of the little girl are delightful and very nicely captured. I think that this photo could have been even better if there were catchlights in the eyes.
