Wow, great depth of field, sharpness, bright color! Only thing is the shadow on her face is a little harsh...maybe if it was more dappled...?

nice image but I'm sure I am not the first to wish that light on her face wasnt there. lovely dof of the cherry blossoms.. maybe some editing could take the light out and you would have a lovely image!

This has the makings of a pretty charming picture with nice clarity of her expression. But I think a vertical composition to take in a little more of her red kimono may have been better as the pinks and reds play nicely together here. And the way the light falls on her face is not very becoming. 6.

Is she actually painted pink?

great shot

I would have placed the subject a little further from that hanging flower cluster as it appears to be attatched to her head. Also, for a horizontal frame I don't think this center placement of the subject is a good choice. There needs to be a catch light in her eyes. This is a good effort.

I am sure I have seen this one before. It is a wonderful example of bokeh.

8 from me...good luck!

Cool! The flower by her head should either be lower or cropped out though. Also the light on her face is sort of distracting.

I like your photo. I also wonder how this would be if it was cropped in more from the left side, thus making it more of a vertical photo since the woman has such a long, beautiful face.

too bad you didn't have more sun on the face...

Lovely subject. The sunlight on her face is distracting.

The shadow over her face is distracting I think, and the composition seems slightly too centered, but the expression and DoF and really good.

Great opportunity, but the shaded eyes and bright spot on the cheek and chin are distracting. I also think it is cropped a bit tight and too centered.
