I knew this would get blur comments and low scores b/c of it.
I had to smile when shortly after seeing this I visited Banana Republic and saw that ALL of their framed photos are blurred.

Good job on this one.

I like this shot a lot. I rated it pretty high but knew that the majority of voters would vote this low. Why? For some reason they believe that unless the photo is sharp, in focus etc then its not a good photograph. I find that sad and would urge them to look again. Keep the faith and good luck

Thought the blur did not work for the photo. Even one depicting high speed needs at least one point of reference that has better focus.

Ahh! Waaay too blurry.

Love the motion blur/impressionistic effect! I think a crop here would be even better--crop into the left center portion (getting rid of the blue legs on the right and some of the unused top to make it less "narrow" looking. Nice work!

I like the idea, but the high degree of blurr is too much for me.

My eye wants something clear to rest on, but otherwise, this is a nice composition.

It barely works. I mean, luckily, the photo's discrenible, but it's just a little too shaky to be "great."

This is too blury for me. I think it needs a stronger subject

I guess this was going for the feel of motion, but it just seems to come across as blurred, esp since the motion appears to be vertical, instead of lateral. Perhaps a shot of the outside moving past would have worked better?

Dont' care too much for the excessive blurring here, no point of sharpness in the photograph

Have a feeling you won't get many high scores - people hate blur and assume it was an accident. However, I love this image - tells me more about the subway than most images. Isn't this what you always remember? Love the crop/composition. 9 - good luck in the challenge!

This i think is actually a great shot. it reminds me of brian peterson type of photography. the blurrynes is a distraction but im sure you did it on purpose.

I have no idea why this appeals to me, maybe it's the implied movement, maybe it's how early morning commuters see the world at 5.00am. Dunno. I gave it 9

So show the interior clearly and the speeding scenery out the window. This is just a blurred photo.

I think it would work better if the people were in focus and the feeling of speed came from a view out a window (if there are any).

There is too much motion blur happening for my liking.

This had potential but the camera shake is horrible. 1

like the feel, love how the poles melt...quite a contrast to the new york subway shot, but it's so right for an eastern high tech vibe. I wish i had seen it without the title.
