Found this awesome cloud mountain climbing today so I snapped away and got this picture and cropped it and adjusted the saturation and hue.
Has a nice shape to it I had the camera on 3 mega pixels at the time probably would of looked better with 10 but hey.

Hey guys thanks for all the great comments, i was away during this challenge at a photography course learnt heaps. My net is stuffing up at the moment which is sooo stupid and unconvineiant God knows when I'll be able to get on again and my digital camera is also deciding to play up so its off to Sydney for it.
Anyways I agree with whosaid it is a bit over sharpened and the weird blue light was there so yeah I dunno lol.
I since found out about the isos on my camera so ill be able to fill that one out YAY lol
I better stop raving now LOL

Greetings (or should I say "Good Day Mate") from the Critique Club

Well, this is your 3rd Challenge and you are really getting in stride here. Congratulations on your good score on your Heavens Light image.

You didn't give much information on your automatic camera settings. I'd suggest that if you check around your program where you upload your images into your computer, you'll find your settings lurking in there somewhere.

It is an interesting shape and our voters liked it. YOu do have some blown out bits and some strange blue at the top that might have come about with your post processing. But I can't really tell without your processing information.

Nevertheless, you did well with your image and I wish you much success here at DPC.

Alice

6 - Like the cloud shape and light capture. Criticism; seems a bit of oversharpening on the edges, which for basic editing, was likely difficult to control. Contrast seems fairly good in the cloud itself but some minor issues in the sky, but again, difficult to control/adjust in basic.

I think that this would be a winner in backlight challenge but this cloud really has a nice shape so this photo will do good in this challenge also...Good luck

Striking combination of thick solid thunderhead, wispy outliers, and halos. Wonderful.

What is that effect, strong unsharp mask maybe? In any case it's not into my liking. Image quality isn't up to the level I would want it to be. 2.
