Thank you to all who voted! I understand that I should have submitted a bigger photo. I have learned a lot from this challenge.

Try to have the long side of your photo be as close to 640 pixels as you can. You will probably lose points for it being so small because it makes it hard to evaluate.

Had to give this one a low vote, sorry. Too dull and small.

be prepared to receive comments about the photo being too small. It's hard to see the raindrops.

Need to enter a bigger size, very nice photo. Compostion could be better, I feel like it was cut off on the top and bottom, perhaps cropping in the sides to fill the frame with the flower would make it seem like you cut the top and bottom off on purpose.

Sorry for scoring this so low, because it is a great interpretation of the challenge, and it has nice focus and composition.
But the image is so small that the detail and overall impact in the photo is lost.
You can submit images up to 640 pixels on the larger dimension.

Welcome to DPC, hope you don´t get hammered for entering such a small image..we are allowed 640 pixels on thee longest side. Looks like a fine shot, nicely focused and beautiful colors!

would have possibly given this a higher score if it were a little larger.

The shape of the subject is supposed to be emphasized. This image is really too small to tell much about.

Image is quite a bit smaller than what is allowed, in case you've not gotten a zillion comments about that already.

Use as much of the size as the challenge will allow. This is a good photo but it is so small that much of the detail is lost. Bigger photos = Bigger scores

it would help if the picture was a little larger

Try and submit larger shots. It is really hard to judge the quality of a shot when it is this small. It looks a little dark and fuzzy, and I don't see a strong 'Shape'.

try to aim for 640px at the longest dimension. Smaller images get voted down because we cnt see enough to grade them rightfully.

This is a lovely picture, but the size of it has taken away the impact that could be made.
