This is a tangerine from a friend's tree that is distorted, maybe from disease or aliens or something genetically abnormal. Certainly an Oops of nature!

Are you sure this is a tangerine? When I worked at the health food store, we got a fruit in that looked like this called Buddha's Fingers (in the catalogue) It has very little flesh inside, but you use the peel instead.

Here in Taiwan, around this time of the year, you get these in stores for Chinese New Year time.

And the HUMUNGOUS mandarin oranges, bigger than a child's head... hmmm got me thinking about a shot...

If this is a tangerine, that's weird!

Looks a bit messy.

too much water on this thing; enough with the spray bottle! Nice colors, the composition is a bit awkward though; not trying to bring negativity; just contructivity.

Great idea, great look on Buddha's fingers. Too bad about the cut off leaves. I would guess that it would look better with just a little bit of leaf or the whole thing.

Great idea. I don't like the crop.

Is this really a tangerine? Great image, beautiful colors. Gave it a 10.

The lighting seems a little bit harsh to me. I think if it were a bit more in focus and maybe a black background it could.."pop" a bit more.

Wow, very wrong. The colors are great and adding the water really adds to the composition. The only thing that bothers me is the leaf on the top left. Its cut off and distracts me. Nicely done!

At first I thought they were jalapeno peppers.
Good capture!

This is a very interesting picture with lots of color and good lighting. Might be better dry, though.

I'd say so!

Not sure about the water drops, especially where they pool under the leaf. Also a bit dark. That said, a truly unique shot and one of the better I've seen so far.

Juice candidate
Seems the image could be slightly clearer, but that could be my eyes.
