I like this shot on its own. I love her goofy earmuffs and her un-self-conscious expression. I kind of wish there feet weren't cropped out. Although I'm sure it speaks volumes to the photographer about his/her parents it really doesn't speak to me about motherhood. It's refreshing you didn't try to shoehorn the photo with a leading title.
