a lot of detail reduction was necessary to get this under 150k. even with that, the compression was at 64% quality -

one of the things I like best about the forest is that the light is always interesting, and often the best light is in the middle of the day. good light in the mid-day is pretty rare, and I appreciate it a lot.
I just loved the dappled light over the ferns and the boulder, with the roots writhing through the frame for added depth and texture.
