Challenge: Oops! II (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Nikon D200
Lens: Nikon AF Micro-Nikkor 60mm f2.8D
Location: Singapore
Date: Dec 25, 2005

Shot at Alexandra Park, Singapore. Featured in this shot is my wife - who is actually jogging to the car to get some water as it was a hot afternoon. Our dog was told to STAY, and standing there with my camera - I suddenly realised how stressed the poor thing looked. Perfect chance for a Oops submission I thought.

With advanced editing, I would have liked to have cloned the gutter that runs through the shot although arguably the presence of this adds depth. Still - would like it gone.

Technical details - Nikon D200. "Vivid" settings in camera. Some levels / colour balance. Unsharp mask at 100% / 0.5.

I like the idea you are going for here. Nice DOF and bokeh. The framing/perspective is a little off though in my opinion. I don't like that the line from the curb/rail goes through your subject's head.

Aw, poor puppy. I hope she does not have abandonment issues. Creative shot.

Not a bad photo. It's the diagonal lines that keep pulling me away from the more interesting parts of your photo.

Aww, don't leave the cute rot! :-( (I'm sure you wouldn't, really... ;-)

As for the shot itself, I do wish there was a little bit more in the lower left, to have his paws completely in frame, with a tiny bit of border.

I like this pic, even with that dividing line and the car, but... where's the "oops"?
