| 8 - Nice macro, seems 'natural' (no make up, neat image, etc), good 'feel'/detail in the skin and lashes. Nice coloring. I like the seemingly 'thoughtful capture' in the eye. Criticism; difficult, but perhaps a little sharper focus on the iris/eye, but the detail in the lashes/brow/hair is good. Perhaps a slightly tighter crop on the right, even though it adds 'context'/perspective, still may have made the 'features' pop just a little more. Thank you for doing a 'quality shot' of my 'username'. Up to 7 from 6. Up to 8 from 7. |

| Nice photo for the user name you picked. I like the lashes and the eye. I also wonder how this would look with just a bit mroe cropped off from the right hand side. |

| Very nice. Possibly a tad tighter on the right would be more to my liking, but overall the image speaks very well. Bumping up.. |

| I think what bugs me most is the blurred bridge of the nose that takes up 1/3 of the shot. I'd much rather have the entire shot as the macro. That brown eye is beautiful and it's so clear, but I can't get past the blur of the nose. Maybe shoot from a different perspective. This certainly has merit if the ol' schnoz weren't there. 6 |

| Nice image although from personal experience, i would have probably cropped out the nose and left most of the eye in the image. The right side is just a blur and is quite distracting. Great shot of the eye and lashes. DOF is good ;) 7 |

| amazing detail on the iris and lashes...but find the blurred nose very distracting...but i guess that's a 'macro thing' |
