 Third Shallow DOF that came into mind. The first two were a major failure. I wish i could have used more lights but i could only find one desk lamp, otherwise i would have made the backround whiter. Hope you like it!

I actually could only find one lamp and the rest of the lighting was from a flashlight i was holding up, i has to hold a piece of papaer behind it all while pressing the trigger, it was fairly annoying. But htan you all for the comments, It will really help wiht the next challenge!

Nice concept. I would have liked it a little more if the focused one was not dead center. the color scheme is nice.

A good idea but a more thoughtful arrangement of the pencils would make a better composition. This seems rather haphazard. There is a distracting shadow behind the pencil on the far left of the frame.

Who would of thought that No. 2's would make for such a great photograph. My tiny and stupid nitpick is the one pencil being directly behind the front most pencil.

Touch lack of detail on the center pencil (too much highlight) but otherwise good.
