oh...5.2? I really loved the warm colors of this image and the focus on the little pink nose.

I love this one Kelly! The colors are so vibrant and rich. MUCH better than 5.2. ..MUCH BETTER!

Really nice portrait. IMHO I'd choose the eyes in the focus in stead of the nose ...

popping off the frame - great eye to pick this one out -- one of my ribbon picks (only suggestion -- wish the border was a bit thinner)

Wow! Love the expression, warm colors, perfectly focused nose, the whiskers... wonderful crop, and good use of a border. A perfect 10!

Not bad for a pet shot, just a touch more DOF to include the eyes would help.

Great use of DOF, you definately draw the viewer to face and eyes. Well done!

6 - Like this. The focus just on the nose is good and the use of shallow DOF also good. Criticism; the dark areas between the eyes are slightly detracting. The whiskers add a nice element here, especially the DOF/blurred effect, and if they were not 'cut' (so perhaps a different crop/framing depending what you had to work with) may have made this even better in my opinion. The ears as well, but the whiskers add something different here. Frame is too thick at this size in my opinion.

If you had made its eyes sharper instead of the nose I think it would have given it more visual appeal.

I wish it were the eyes in focus instead of the nose. JMO.

Cute, and definite DOF. However, I feel the focus should have been on the eyes, not the tip of the nose.

Nice portrait, but I would have preferred to see the focus on the eyes rather than the nose. Also don't care for the border - it feels a bit 'heavy'. I like the color and tonal range.

Focus on the eyes might have been better since that is where you (or at least I) am drawn to.

Definitely a good shallow DOF shot, but it might have been more effective to focus on the eyes instead of the nose. Just a thought...

Love those whiskers! The critter looks like he means business too! Very nice.

good composition, but you might want to try having the eyes in focus instead of the nose. a good photo nonetheless. Like the tones. 9

Amazing how the detail can still be so captivating even with some blur. Perfect shallow DOF! Great markings on that cat.

Would like to see just a bit more DOF through the eyes.

Still, good image!
