I was *very* disappointed this shot placed so low. I think it's head and shoulders above many of the others! I mean, really... how many speeding planes, trains and automobiles can we stomach? Grey plane on grey background anyone?

Oh well! Still love to see it framed on the wall. If only I had the cash. In the meantime, keep at it!

I completely agree with grigrigirl, this should've placed much better. I also gave you a 10.

I think this picture is incredible. With the stationay subject being off-center and the choice of black & white, I give this a 10.

There's a number of fairground ride shots entered in the challenge, but this one is IMO the best. It's predominantly in the tonal depth (the blackness of the blacks), but combined with perfect amount of motion blur, the legible text in foreground, (near) illigible background text, and the subject's gaze cast off to one side, all adds up to a shot that I can easily imagine in large format framed on a wall.

Nothing really in focus but it works well

Perhaps a crop on the left?

Very tangible motion. Good capture, though could have been improved with an area of perfect focus. [7]

What a hectic scene - i like it. Good composition. I wish those people on the right were sharper - the contrast against the blurred background would have accentuated the speed aspect, i think.

Nice shot - I like the black and white, exposure is good and it conveys speed well. Nice shot.
