great shot...the use of shallow dof to focuse on the needle is perfect and this also the pattern to blend together to not distract the eye

great choice of subject for a photo shoot! needlework is rarely seen (at least on DPC); this picture is made all the more charming by being composed of simple everyday objects.

Great use of DOF and great composition. What I would have liked to see was perhaps different lighting on the shirt, or maybe even a different colored shirt.

5 - Good concept, and interesting, especially with the 'shapes'/patterns. Criticism; if the needle were 'straight', especially given your choice of vertical framing, make this even better in my opinion. Good 'DOF'.
