Fun idea. there's something in the lower left hand corner of the pic, and It would be more effective to me if the background were more black.

This was a hell of an idea. I'm not so sure about the framing of the shot you actually took though. Seems like it would've been more effective vertically centered and pushed over to the right, but leaving the photo in portrait orientation rather than landscape. Just a thought....

Woops! (bottom left) ;-) I like your interpretation.

Good idea, badly done. Try a black background, and have a more interesting burn pattern.

It's majored on a pun, not the brief (feeling/illusionof speed)! Poor cropping and a bit too noisy anyway. [2]

Nice take on the challenge! Like the burning up of the page, great touch. The black background really takes away from the subject though. Would suggest to have cropped the photo with just the page in it. Otherwise, good job. 6

This image should have been taken more zoomed in on the burning sheet of paper, or more of the outside grey should have been cropped out.

you didnt use your space very well. subject is positioned in an odd way but probably because it is being held by something at the top. maybe you could have layed it flat on the ground in the center of the photo. also, there is something in the lower left corner that should have been cropped.

i was thinking about submitting a "speed reading" photo, too, with the newest harry potter book on the last page... this is an interesting take on the challenge... i wish you've cropped out that thingy from the left bottom corner... in addition, the picture is a little "noisy", too, did you try neatimage?

I get it, but I don't get it... What does the flame have to do with speed reading, and why is speed repeated 100+ times, and why does it get smaller and smaller. I don't know, maybe too deep for me.

The photo itself is OK. Looks like you may have a hot pixel (no vote deduction) You should have cropped out the bottom left corner. The background's a little noisy at the right, and you got what looks like some JPEG artifacts on the paper - don't compress so much. The composition is interesting. The edges of the paper are sharp enough, but the text could be sharper.
