Converted from RAW using RSP (WB correction and a little curves & sharpening). Had to use PS save for web to drop file size 2 bytes since RSP created a 152K file - I guess PS has a slightly different compression engine. Next time probably make the file 639 bytes wide instead :-(

Lighting is great, but I agree both dice should be in focus, or at least readable... I'd also shoot from an angle (so the points aren't parallel to the image edges), I think that might energize it a bit.
This is a splendid image. The colors are fantastic. The ultrasharp focus on the one die is terrific. A really excellent demonstration of DOF to highlight a subject. And a wonderful photo because of the movement implied by the out of focus part of the photo. My top rated photo for this challenge. Hope it ribbons.
