 Yes...the fire is real... and so is the phobia, I found it on a list of the top three most rare phobias. Traveling back in time was number one...lol

This was a pretty dangerous picture. I had an incence stick sticking out of a small hole I put in the wall, I lit it on fire and had a can of cooking spray. My roomate told me when I had my mouth lined up with the fire and then I hit the nozzel. As you can see...the flame was only 2 or 3 inches behind my face... It smelled like hot dogs in my room when we got done, lol.

I'm not sure how this will do... The reason I had the fire coming out of the mouth is because it seems like the things that we fear are some of the hardest things to escape. So if you had to breath fire, yet were terrified of it....well, you get the idea.

I had this envisioned in my mind the second I saw the challenge...It turned out pretty much like I wanted it too.

Very nice, How did you get this, Its fantastic. My kids are curious too although I may not share your secret with them if its too dangerous :)

This is technically a nice photo. But, like many other entries, it doesn't evoke the feeling of phobia. Perhaps anger, but DEFINITELY not fear.

Nicely done; the slight misalignment between the source of the flame and the mouth is somewhat distracting. The photo would be more emotive if the model's eyes weren't half closed.
