For me, the dark night sky takes away the sense of height. Also, it's a bit too flashed out at the bottom.

This is really bad - it's just an over exposed piece of wall. I can't tell if it's up, down, or straight out in front of you.

Dur to the trees, it feels like looking up, instead of down (which is the scary thing, right?). A bit more cropping would have been good.

Well, this looks to have the makings of a good shot. I wish I could tell what it is. It is certainly tall, which would leave me to believe one who is scared of heights would not like this, but the picture just doesn't capture what it is I think you were trying for. The lower part of it is over exposed and I can't quite tell if those are snow flakes falling, lights, specks of dust or what.

Might have been more effective had it been shot facing towards the ground? Still like the sense of height.
