Too funny.

Personally, I think this could be improved by using a minitripod and putting the 20d a little farther forward to make it more prominent in the picture. The charger could stand to be hidden somewhere else. Charging batteries doesn't seem to be the primary goal of Canon-eers, let alone a desirable activity to all those Nikon-eers who are secretly desiring Canon Goodness.

Additionally, the lights could stand to be strung up in a slightly less haphazard way.

Of course what most Nikon-eers really want is the D200, so they can keep all their existing glass...

Nice title and a well-done catalog shot.

I think I would have ditched the lights and use red or green ribbon. The lens with the hat is very cute by itself.

I was looking to do something similar to this but mine wasn't nearly as good as that. I didn't like the composition so I tossed it. A few things though...The charger and the cable are taking the center stage for some reason and I don't think you're trying to emphasize those. I would have gotten rid of them completely and put the camera in place of the charger. The lights on the box are questionable in my opinion, I would look to replace it with a tree branch instead. The decorations on the right side are a nice touch and the photo has good depth. I love the way the lens is wearing a santa hat.

Hehe! Love it!! You may have lost a lot of votes from the NIkon crowd though. :-) Seems a little underexposed, could have used more lighting to catch the detail in the camera and lens.

Replace all the canon stuff with Nikon and sure, that might be on my wishlist.. I like the spot lighting on the box, but the 20D gets a little lost in the shadows. The hat on the lens is a nice touch.

Yes, I would like all the above too.
Not sure if the non-photographer would find the appeal

Dansig showing off again? Well in any case, sorry but these shots just don´t appeal to me at all, what is the point with these kind of shots? To show off? I just can´t imagine it doing well in a challenge, you have to put yourself in the voters shoes and this is hardly something most people would vote high for, that includes me.

I am voting according to the lighting and composition and technical merits of this picture. All of them are very mediocre, not bad at all but not good either so I gave it a mediocre score of 5. Now I seriously encourage you to go out with your expensive equiment and start producing some phenomenal photos, with equipment like that you should have no problems...

I can definitely see this in a holiday catalog. Nice job. The charger in the center brings too much attention to it. Maybe a flash would have better off center.
