When folks claim they saw a great white light at the end of a tunnel, I'm convinced they've traveled toward The Grate Mouli and it's field of white cheddar.

Wow. I can't believe how under-rated this photo is. First it's not your standard person-forcing-a-smile-for-a-friends-challenge-entry. It's an abstract study, folks. Lots of curls and circles and the shadows created. Using a point of view that is original and a nice tight crop (which works in this case).

I think it's a good shot with room for improvement, but under-appreciated.

What the hell is this? Seriously, did you think this was "great" when you submitted it? Pardon me, if you will, for being an ass, but I'm sick of seeing stuff that's obviously bad, submitted to challenges.

clever idea but the focus is off. did you use a macro setting?

An interesting shot. What it really needs is a clear focal point - a shame the cheese in the middle is not better focused. The overexposure in the center is also very distracting.

Too out of focus for me... however, I tried this sort of shot myself and I couldn't pull it together either. I commend you on trying it!

A little too blurry and small.

Neat idea, but I think it could have been more in focus.

the idea is good but lack of contrast and clearness

View you dont see every day....

Neat idea but nothing seems to be in focus.

Love the idea, wish it were in focus.

A really different point of view but I'm searching for the main point of focus and I can't see it!

Grate idea, wishing for significantly more DOF, would have made it a great idea and execution.

Interesting angle and pov for this shot. Would like it to be sharper, or have a nice shallow DOF to focus to eye, it lacks a specific focal point as it is.

clever idea but needs to be more in focus

This was a great (grate!) idea - and I would love to score it higher, but sadly you needed sharp, sharp focus to carry it off and this image just doesn't have that. Points for an innovative viewpoint though.
