Veermanskade with a couple of small old fisherboats in front of it. This shot was taken from the end of the Oude Doelenkade.
There is not a single day when there is not a car in the frame. :( They should ban parking in front of monumental buildings. Hoorn is particularly a bad place with modern stuff, because many views contain ugly roadsings, road blocking poles, garbage bins and crap like that. It is very hard to get a good decent old view.
I personally prefer B&W. Vignetting is added.

A great photo of a very classy place.
I like the heavy feeling in the photo, I suppose it's the dark sky's "fault".
The cars don't really bug me. I hardly see them. I admit the boats would have looked less "busy" without the cars, but still I think the photo conveys the right mood.
The b&w works great here. Let's my focus on all the little details like the roof, the many windows, even the ripples on the water.

The only thing that bugs me a little bit is, I think that there are not enough whites in the photo.
It's not a big thing, but somehow...
the windows at first glance, look white. but if you look at them again, you realize that they are not completely white. They are a bit "dirty".

I like the light in the front of the biuldings and the black and white goes well with it.
