 Just arrived in NYC, having not had a winter in two years (I was in Australia, so missed the last one) and gee it's cold. I'm really not used to this.

Well - just found out I resized it to 460 instead of 640. Live and learn. The larger image is much nicer! Know now for next time. Thanks for your comments.

wow. the lighting and positioning is really interesting! i love the shadows and what not. the fuzzy whiteness on the bottom table looks a little strange though. but it works for the overall effect.

Whilst smaller sizes in vertical images perhaps help for those on low resolutions, this realy comes across as very very small on a high-res screen. I suspect there's a kertesz-like interplay of shapes here - he had some fine images of Washington Square in the snow, and of the Tuileries playing on similar themes.

I find this image very interesting for some strange reason...I can't put my finger on it. But the lighting is great, the composition is great. Excellent capture.

Nice photo, but without the title, I'd never guess that this image had anything to do with the concept of "too late"
