| Lighting is almost dead on, especially in the back part of the banana. Love the shadows, but the top of the banana is a bit blown out and too bright. Nice work with no background artifact. |

As to the reference to "Tasty" - well unfortunately after sitting through about 20 banana photos, the last thing I feel like eating is a banana - LOL
It's a nice shot, (little unoriginal), but I do find the border distracting |

| I hate bananas! Loss of detail on the inside of the skin and the flesh and the frame is distracting. |

| Nice composition, some interesting textures. Bit too overexposed though, resulting in loss of detail in some of the white areas. And the border... if you HAVE to use one of those borders, it would work better either with the banana fully enclosed, or with the banana 100% opaque over the border. 7 |

| Great lighting. But I'm torn by the frame leakage. On the one hand it's a neat looking effect; on the other hand, what is a frame for, if not to frame the photo. Too bad you couldn't spot edit that pixel on the lower left. -8. |

| Great lighting - slightly bright in the highlights nut not enough that it spoils things. Should score well, I think. Well done. |

| great still life, I like the way the banana stands out from the background, the choice of black really makes this photo IMO...nice composition, too... |
