This is a significantly good shot. Standing out from the crowd in this challenge. The lighting and the angle you took the picture from create an image that made me stop. One of the things I like about voting is that you get to know what you like in a photograph. You have certainly done it for me with this one. Thanks |

7 - Good. Looks genuine, but who knows. Criticism; not much, maybe 'somehow' bringing out more character, whether through the use of lighting, crop adjustment, or even 'using' the light on the hardhat, not sure. Just needs a little 'something' extra in my opinion. Maybe 'tweaking' the colors/contrast (eg; the blue of the hardhat) slightly if possible might have 'lifted' this a little. |

OH this is great. I didn't think I'd see any humans in this challenge so this is a pleasant surprise. The clarity of his right eye is awesome. The use of negative space creates a nice composition. I like the crop over his hat and the tiny reflection of the light on the snap of his shirt, which helps bring your eyd down. Well done!! 10 |

Good setup for the challenge. The dirt marks on the face don't look realistic but I may be wrong. I would be very interested to see where this was taken as I have not seen a cap lamp like that before. Good lighting over his face. I really like the bloodshot eyes. |
